For some time during the late 1970’s I had been meeting on a monthly
basis, with a small group of people led by a very experienced psychic. He had
the ability to ‘call up’ Space Beings, and at each meeting, through him, the
contact would result in a lengthy message being received. The content of these
would be best described, as of general interest. The object for the rest of us,
was to try and develop our own ability until we too could also make that ‘mind
to mind’ contact. I cannot say that we had any real success, although I did
one a few occasions see the features of Space Beings in my mind's eye. But, if
success can be measured by any other means, then perhaps I did better than I
imagined.
I put this down to an experience I had, driving back home from one of
our Saturday evening meetings. It was quite late, around 11-30 PM, it was dry,
the sky was clear and visibility very good.
I had just dropped off one of the other members of our group, and was on
my way home. My route took me through Sanderstead, a rural area in Surrey, I was
starting to drive downhill to a ‘T’ junction when suddenly, approaching
directly from behind my car, and thereby coming into my view through my
windscreen, was a flying craft. It seemed so low, and was travelling quite
slowly, which enabled me to gain a lasting impression of what I saw. It was an
oval disc shape, giving out a bright yet not dazzling silver blue colour. What
struck me as unusual at the time, was that it appeared to be pulsing as it moved
forward. It seemed to momentarily leave an image of its shape behind it, and I
must confess although that was something new to me at the time, I have since
occasionally come across similar reports. The craft eventually went out of sight
as it moved over the roofs of the houses which were immediately ahead. I would
say it was in my sight for some 10 seconds, and above my car engine and road
noises, I could not detect any other sounds that might have been attributable to
the craft. I would guess that the craft was approximately 30 feet in diameter,
but it was difficult to gauge its actual height.
I do not think it unreasonable to put that sighting down to having
successfully having made contact. There was no further sighting, and as far as I
am aware, no communication received from whoever the occupants were. Like most
people who have had such a wonderful experience, in my mind I see the sighting
just as vividly now, as I did then.
